Having heard the respective counsel for some time, we are of the view that no indulgence is called for in the extraordinary jurisdiction as the survey under the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 and the scheme framed thereunder is already over on 31st July 2025.

The fact remains that petitioner had not participated in the said survey, and it is also an admitted position on record that petitioner does not hold any vending certificate.

However, we are of the view that petitioner can apply, in case, if in future, the respondents intend to go for a fresh survey. 4.
