This petition has been filed seeking protection for the life and liberty of the petitioners, who are major in age (27 & 24 years, respectively) and got married on 25th November 2024, against the wishes of their families. Accordingly, the family members of petitioner No.2 have opposed the marriage and the petitioners have serious concerns about their safety. 2.

Accordingly, issue notice.

Notice is accepted by the counsel for the State. 4.

The counsel appearing on behalf of the State shall provide the contact numbers of the Beat Constable and the SHO of P.S. Rani Bagh, to the petitioners, for them to communicate with, in case any threat is perceived. 5.

Counsel for the petitioners states that they have apprehensions that a false complaint will be filed against them.
