The present petition has been filed as Habeas Corpus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, inter alia seeking directions for production of petitioner's sister, i.e., detenue, before this Hon'ble Court.

Ms. Urvi Mohan, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent nos.1 and 2. Mr. Sanjay Lao, learned Standing Counsel for State accepts notice on behalf of respondent nos.3, 4 and 5. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos. 3, 4 and 5 submits that the sister of petitioner has already left for her native place in Jharkhand through the placement agent who had engaged her and is no longer missing. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner admits the aforesaid fact but submits that there are certain disputes regarding her pending wages. 6.

Herein, we are not entertaining any dispute with regard to the payment of wages and such aspect is left open to be decided by appropriate forum/Court. The petitioner or her sister shall be at liberty to raise all such issues before the appropriate forum or Court, in accordance with law. 7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, in view of said liberty, does not press for any further relief.

The petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 9.
