By way of the present petition filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, the petitioner seeks extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for concluding the Arbitral proceedings and passing the Award.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has already expired on 10.10.2023. It is stated that the petitioner was undergoing CIRP proceedings and a moratorium was imposed, resulting in a delay in approaching the Court. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submits that the respondent has no objection to the prayer made in the petition.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for passing of the award is extended by a period of six months from The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
