This petition has been filed by the petitioner, praying for a direction to the respondent to re-fix his pay with the last drawn salary of Rs. 47,600/- (Pay Level - 06) from the Indian Army. 2.

Having considered the contents of the petition, we are of the opinion that the same should be considered by the respondents as a representation of the petitioner and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from today. In case the petitioner is found entitled to the relief as claimed, the same should be released to the petitioner within the same period. If the order passed by the respondent is adverse to the interest of the petitioner, it shall be open to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with the law.
