Accordingly, this application stands disposed of. CRL.M.A. 2604/2025 (Application under Section 528 of BNSS for extension of parole for a period of 90 days) 3.
The present application has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') seeking extension of parole for a period of ninety (90) days granted to the Petitioner by this Court vide order date 06.12.2024 and extended vide order dated 03.01.2025. 4.

disease and has undergone three (3) surgeries. It is stated that the said minor son may have to undergo the 4th surgery in near future and for the said reason the Petitioner is seeking extension of parole to make requisite arrangements.

Learned ASC has filed Status Report dated 30.01.2025 and has enclosed a certificate issued by the Director, Medanta dated 30.01.2025. 6.
This Court has perused the record and the status report. 7.
The certificate dated 30.01.2025 states that the patient is undergoing dressing every five (5) days in OPD and explains the condition of the patient/minor child. The relevant portion of the certificate reads as under: "Currently patient is undergoing NPWT (VAC) dressing every 5 days so patient needs follow up every fifth day in OPD until wound optimizes. Wound closure (Local flap cover) is planned after wound optimization (Tentatively after 2 weeks). Complete healing is expected to be 2-3 weeks after flap cover is done and patient will be fit to do his routine activities after 2-3 weeks post-surgery. (Flap cover)" 7.1 A perusal of the said certificate shows that the patient/minor child would require eight (8) weeks for the treatment and post-surgery care. The Petitioner in this application has sought extension of parole for 90 days, however, keeping in view the certificate issued by the Director, Medanta dated 30.01.2025, the parole is extended by a period of eight (8) weeks w.e.f. 02.02.2025 on the same terms and conditions as set out in the order dated 06.12.2024.

With the aforesaid directions, the application stands disposed of. 9.
It is made clear that no further extension will be granted and the Petitioner must make alternate arrangements in these eight (8) weeks, for the medical care and upkeep of his minor son.

A copy of this order be sent to the Jail Superintendent for information and necessary compliance.
