% 27.07.2017 Status report in the form of affidavit has come to be handed over. Part demolition for the unauthorised construction has taken place. In the earlier part of the day, it had come to be stated on behalf of the respondent that the further demolition action is scheduled for today only. Matter was therefore, asked to be taken up in the second part of the day. Now, when the matter is again taken up, ld. counsel for the respondent states that with the police assistance provided, further demolition is being carried out. In view of the actions taken, I am of the considered view, this present petition does not requires to be kept pending.
Petition is disposed off.
Liberty is however, reserved to the petitioner to approach the Court afresh if the respondent do not discharge their duties and function in accordance with law and something still requires to be done on their part. If it so happens, it would invite stringent action against the concerned officers of the respondent. A. K. CHAWLA, J JULY 27, 2017 ac
