This is a petition filed under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 1 year for making and publishing the final Award.

It is stated that only the Arbitral Award is required to be rendered by the Arbitral Tribunal.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over in the Court today a copy of the master data available on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs website, as per which the e-mail ID of the respondent is nibbosretailservice@gmail.com.

As per the documents handed over in the Court today i.e., e-mails sent at nibbosretailservice@gmail.com, the respondent has been served at the said e-mail ID.

I am satisfied that the e-mail ID on the Ministry of Corporate Affairs website is the e-mail ID of the respondent. Hence, the respondent is deemed to be served.

However, despite service there is nobody appearing on behalf of the respondent.

In view of the aforesaid, I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for delay. Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a further period of 1 year from 19.06.2025 to conclude the arbitration proceedings.

The period from 19.06.2025 till today stands regularized. 9.
The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
