The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no. 1-Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD"), to take action against the unauthorized construction being carried out by respondent no. 2, in the property bearing House No. 17, First Floor, Front Side, South Patel Nagar, Delhi.

Responding to the present writ petition, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 1-MCD submits that the Officials of the MCD have inspected the property and have found that respondent no. 2 has only put PVC sheets over the structure. She, thus, submits that no unauthorized construction is going on in the property in question. 3.

She further submits that a complaint dated 27th September, 2025, filed by the petitioner, is already pending before the Special Task Force The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. ("STF"). She submits that requisite Status Report shall be filed before the STF. She further submits that if need be, in case, any unauthorized construction is carried out by respondent no. 2, requisite action shall be taken by the MCD after following the due process of law. 4.

Considering the submissions made before this Court, it is directed that the MCD shall ensure that no unauthorized construction is carried out in the property in question.

In case of any unauthorized construction, the MCD shall duly take action after following the due procedure, in accordance with law. 6.

Further, since the complaint of the petitioner is pending before the STF, the MCD shall file its Status Report before the STF, which shall be duly uploaded on the website of the STF.

With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition, along with the pending application, is disposed of.
