By way of this writ petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of direction to respondent no. 1/State to provide adequate protection to her and her family members, from respondent nos. 2 to 6, in the interest of justice. 4.

Issue notice. The learned ASC accepts notice on behalf of the State. 5.

This Court has heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned ASC appearing for State/respondent no. 1. 6.

As set out in the petition, the petitioner is an 83-year-old woman, residing with her octogenarian husband at the property bearing no. 4-A/9, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

Tilak Nagar, New Delhi-110018, and is suffering from various age-related ailments. It is stated that respondent no. 6 is an influential businessman running "INLAND LIGHTS" at 4A/27, Tilak Nagar, who has been attempting to acquire the petitioner‟s property for his business expansion. It is alleged that acting under his direction, respondent nos. 2 to 5 had fraudulently induced the petitioner to sign an Agreement for Sale and Purchase dated 06.05.2025 for her entire property for ₹7.10 crore. On 11.07.2025, the said respondents had trespassed into the petitioner‟s premises and, under the false pretext of needing further documentation for a bank loan, had coerced her into signing blank papers and another agreement concerning the same property. The original agreement dated 06.05.2025 had expired on 30.08.

2025 due to the respondents‟ failure to make the balance payment. However, by exploiting an unconscionable clause, the respondents had fraudulently registered the second floor of the petitioner‟s property in the names of respondent nos. 4 and 5 on 22.08.2025. The repeated acts of trespass, coercion, and intimidation have caused severe distress to the petitioner and her husband, leading to his hospitalization between 29.06.2025 and 03.07.2025. It is alleged that respondents are now threatening to forcibly transfer the entire property at an undervalued price of ₹1.5 crore, warning that failure to comply till 15.11.2025 would result in physical harm to the petitioner. Due to alleged continued harassment by the respondent nos. 2 to 6, the petitioner had lodged a complaint to the Delhi Police.

The learned ASC for State has placed on record a report dated 07.11.2025, according to which the police did not find any cognizable offence against the respondents to register the FIR. This Court notes that the petitioner has inter alia prayed for protection of herself and life of her family members from the respondent nos. 2 to 6. The right to life and liberty is a cherished Fundamental Right guaranteed by the Constitution of India and the instant case merits a careful indulgence of this Court in ensuring the same. 9.

Keeping in view the sensitivity of the matter and submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioner is directed to provide her contact number to the concerned SHO and Beat Constable, and the concerned officers are also directed to provide the contact numbers of Beat Constable and SHO concerned to the petitioner, and provide necessary assistance as per law in case the need so arises. 10.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is satisfied with the above arrangement.

It is clarified that this order will not be considered as any reflection on the merit of any dispute, pending between the parties. 12.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 13.
