This is a petition seeking quashing of the FIR No. 125/2019 registered at PS Hauz Qazi under Sections 498A/406 of IPC. 2.

During the pendency of the proceedings, the parties have arrived at a settlement before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 31.05.2024. As per the settlement, the petitioner No. 1 is to transfer the flat being 4th Floor, Property No. 1955 in favour of his son named Mr. Islamuddin and daughter-in-law named Ms. Husna. 3.

I am informed that the same has been done.

free will and without any threat, pressure, coercion or undue influence. 6.

I am satisfied that the matter has been settled and the settlement is lawful. Since the parties have arrived at a settlement and no disputes are pending, I am convinced that quashing of the present FIR and the consequential proceedings emanating thereafter would bring peace and secure ends of justice.

7.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the present criminal proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed.

8.

With these observations, the present petition is disposed of.
