This petition has been filed by the petitioners, praying for a direction to the respondents to step-up/upgrade the pay of the petitioners at par with their juniors, in terms of the Judgments of this Court in Sh. Tejbir Singh Dagar and Ors. vs. Union of India and Ors., 2014 SCC OnLine Del 45, Yudhister Mudgal & Ors. vs. Union of India & Ors., 2015 SCC OnLine Del 8493, and Arjun Dass & Ors. vs. Union of India & Ors., 2024 SCC OnLine Del 6637. 2.

The learned counsel for the respondents, who appears on advance notice, submits that the respondents shall consider the contents of the present petition as a representation of the petitioners, keeping in view the above referred Judgments of this Court as well.. 3.

dispose of the present petition by directing that the respondents shall consider the contents of the present petition as a representation of the petitioners and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from today. In case, the petitioners are held entitled to a relief, the same shall be released to the petitioners. In case, the decision taken is adverse to the interest of the petitioners, it shall be open to the petitioners to challenge the same, in accordance with the law. We make it clear that we have not express any opinion on the merits of the present case.
