W.P.(CRL) 821/2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos.2 & 3 were known to each other. A quarrel took place between them, which led to the registration of the present FIR No.841/2016 under Sections 394/34 IPC at police station Keshav Puram on the complaint of respondent no.2. Within a week of registration of FIR, petitioners and respondent nos.2 & 3 ironed out their differences and have settled the matter vide compromise deed dated

26th December, 2016.

Respondent nos.2 & 3 are present in Court and have been identified by SI Suraj Pal PS Keshav Puram. They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that they are not willing to pursue the present FIR any further in view of the settlement. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent nos.2 & 3, in the interest of justice, FIR No.841/2016 under Sections 394/34 IPC registered at police station Keshav Puram, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed, subject to however cost of `10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) to be deposited by each of the petitioners with the Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within two weeks and receipt thereof be handed over to the concerned Investigating Officer. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
