This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitrator by a further period of 5 months for making and publishing the final Award.

Mr. Rattu, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the arbitration proceedings are at the final stage and only the Award needs to be passed. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr Das, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

For the reasons states above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitrator is extended by a period of 5 months from today. 6.

The period from 11.10.2025 till today stands regularized. 7.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
