This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 3 months for making and publishing the final Award.

Ms. Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the parties have almost concluded the final arguments.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Ms. Garg, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that she has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

For the reasons stated above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 3 months from today.
