Mr. Hamid Ali, Adv. along with petitioner no.1 in person.
versus THE STATE OF DELHI & ANR ..... Respondents Through:

Respondent no.2 in person.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 02.04.2018 Respondent no.2-Sameena is present in Court and has been identified by SI Azad Singh of police station Ranhola. She submits that she has settled all her disputes with her husband, that is, petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has started living with the petitioner no.1. She further submits that she has been living with petitioner no.1 for the past two and a half years, inasmuch as, one child has born out of their wedlock, therefore, she does not wish to pursue the FIR No. 119/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Ranhola against the petitioner no.1 and her relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 4 and the same may be quashed.
Keeping in mind that husband (petitioner no.1) and wife (respondent no.2) have started living together after ironing out of their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending.
Accordingly, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
Dasti.
A.K. PATHAK, J.
