By way of the present application, the applicant is seeking extension of interim bail granted to him vide order dated 22.12.2025, passed by this Court, in case arising out of FIR bearing no. 966/2021, registered at Police Station Paschim Vihar (West), Delhi for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 302/364A/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereafter 'IPC').

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant states that vide order dated 22.12.2025, this Court was pleased to grant interim bail to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
the applicant for a period of 30 days on medical grounds. It is stated that pursuant thereto, the applicant was released on interim bail on 19.01.2026 for a period of 30 days and was directed to surrender before the Jail Superintendent, Jail No. 10, Rohini, Delhi on or before 17.02.2026 by 5:00 PM. It is further stated that immediately after his release, the applicant consulted Dr. Ravi Gupta, Senior Orthopaedics, at Apollo Spectra Hospitals, along with his complete jail medical records. Upon clinical examination and perusal of previous treatment papers, the treating doctor advised the applicant to undergo MRI of the L.S. Spine along with other requisite diagnostic investigations. It is also stated that in compliance thereof, the applicant underwent MRI and necessary blood investigations.
The blood reports revealed elevated infection markers suggestive of a serious underlying infection and inflammatory pathology, thereby necessitating further medical management and continuous supervision. Therefore, it is prayed that the applicant be granted extension of interim bail for a period of 30 days on medical grounds.

In view of the above medical report, the learned APP appearing on behalf of the State does not oppose the present application for extension of interim bail.

Considering the overall facts and circumstances of the present case, the fact that this Court had earlier granted interim bail on medical grounds to the applicant for a period of one month vide order dated 22.12.2025, which is to expire today and also keeping in mind the medical condition of the applicant and the period of custody undergone by him, this Court is inclined to grant interim bail to the applicant for a period of one month from the date of expiry of his previous interim bail, on same terms and conditions as The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
