Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed by the Petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 0432/2020 registered under Sections 307/324 IPC at P.S. Vijay Vihar and all proceedings arising therefrom in terms of the Compromise Deed dated 31.10.2025. 2.
It is submitted that the parties are real brothers and had some disputes over the property. On the date of incident, i.e. 18.10.2020, a fight took place in which two Complainants were injured.

The parties are present in person in the Court and have been identified by the Investigating Officer.

disputes amicably vide Compromise Deed dated 31.10.2025. The parties have endorsed the amicable Settlement and accepted the terms thereof voluntarily and submit that the said Settlement has been arrived at between the parties, without any pressure and coercion and that they shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement.

The parties have submitted that all the disputes have been amicably settled vide Compromise Deed dated 31.10.2025 and thus, no fruitful purpose will be served in continuing with the FIR.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion and also the fact that the present matter is related to real brothers, no useful purpose will be served in continuing with the proceedings, rather the same would create further acrimony between them. Hence, it would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. 7.
Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, considering the totality of circumstances and the nature of the dispute, which is essentially family dispute and the fact that they have settled the matter, the FIR No. 0432/2020 registered under Sections 307/324 IPC at P.S. Vijay Vihar and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
