This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for a direction to Respondent No. 1 to consider the category of Petitioner as an NRIs Category for all purposes i.e., participation in counselling process, admission process and forwarding the list of admitted candidates to Respondent No. 2/National Medical Commission for session 2025-26.

At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, submits that Respondent No. 1 has invited fresh applications under NRI Quota and Petitioner has applied for the same and therefore he seeks to withdraw this writ petition.

Writ petition along with pending application is disposed of as withdrawn.
