The petitioners have filed this petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking quashing of FIR No. 453/2016 dated 05.09.2016, registered under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, ["IPC"] at Police Station Bhalswa Dairy, District North West, Delhi, and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, on the ground of settlement.

However, Ms. Manjeet Arya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, submits, upon instructions from the Investigating Officer, that the petitioners have not been named as accused in the chargesheet, and they are not required in connection with the pending FIR at all. 3.

Mr.
