Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to Lokayukta, Delhi to dispose of the Complaint No.C/4061/LOK/2020 dated 02nd January, 2020 filed by the petitioner against respondent no.2. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has filed a complaint dated 02nd January, 2020 before the Lokayukta, Delhi seeking an enquiry against the respondent no.2. He states that the Lokayukta vide order dated 13th July, 2023 directed the petitioner to supply duplicate copies of the CDs provided earlier as evidence against respondent no.2 for the purpose of supporting the allegations of corruption. He states that despite providing the CDs to Director (Investigation) on 31st August, 2023, no further action has been taken till date. He also states that the term of office held by respondent no.2 is going to expire soon and therefore, the complaint filed by the petitioner will become infructuous.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, present writ petition along with the application is disposed of with a direction to the Lokayukta, Delhi to hear and decide the petitioner's aforesaid complaint, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks. The rights and contentions of all the parties are left open.
