Mr. Mamanjay Mishra, Adv.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE YASHWANT VARMA HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE GIRISH KATHPALIA
O R D E R
% 12.12.2024 1.
This writ petition has been preferred for a direction being framed permitting the petitioner to squat at site G-74, Verandah at G Block, Connaught Place, New Delhi.
2.
Learned counsel appearing for the New Delhi Municipal Council ["NDMC"], on instructions, states that the aforesaid site has been declared to be a „No Vending Zone‟. It is further pointed out to us that the solitary representation which the petitioner made was on 03 October 2024 and thus almost ten years after the earlier writ petition had been disposed of on 02 September 2014.
3.
Consequently, we find no justification to grant the prerogative writs which are prayed for. We, however, request the NDMC to duly examine the representation as made and dispose of the same in accordance with law.
4.
The writ petition shall stand disposed of.
