This application has been filed jointly by the parties for placing on record the settlement according to which, towards full and final settlement of all disputes the respondent has been paid a sum of Rs. 5,25,000/- by way of demand draft (Demand Draft No.767022 dated 13.12.2024) in his name. In addition, both sides agreed that another amount of Rs. 10,000/- shall be paid by petitioner to the respondent out of court towards his litigation expenses within one week. The respondent workman appearing in person affirms this settlement. I have spoken with him in Hindi. Accordingly, the application is allowed and the settlement is taken on record.
