This is an application seeking modification of the order dated 11.12.2024 to the effect that the petitioner may be permitted to travel in India without seeking permission of the Court. 2.

On 11.12.2024, this Court in Para No. 8 directed as under: "The petitioner shall not leave the NCT of Delhi without permission from the competent Court in the meantime." 3.

It is stated that pursuant to this order, the petitioner has travelled in India for number of times after seeking permissions from the Court and has duly complied with the terms and conditions imposed by the Court.

The same is duly confirmed by the State in the Status Report. 5.

I am of the view that Right to Travel is a Fundamental Right and no unreasonable restriction should be imposed on the same. On 11.12.2022, restriction was imposed as the matter was at the initial stage of investigation.

It is stated that the investigation is still pending and the petitioner has duly participated as and when called by the respondent. 7.

For the said reasons, I am inclined to modify the order. 8.

The petitioner is not required to take permission of the Court to travel in India but shall inform the date of departure and date of arrival of travel within immediate 2 days of the same.

The application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
