% 23.03.2018 Respondent no. 2 Mr. Azad is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sandeep of police station Karawal Nagar. Respondent no. 2 says that he has settled the matter with petitioners, who are his neighbours, of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, vide a Settlement Deed dated 19th February, 2018. Respondent no. 2 further says that he has no objection in case FIR No.365/2013 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Karawal Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. It is noted that a

cross FIR was also registered against the respondent no. 2 and his coaccused Babloo and Aadesh on the complaint of respondent no. 2 herein, which has been quashed vide order passed today in Crl. M.C. No. 1510/2018 titled Babloo and Ors. vs. State and Ors. by a Bench of coordinate jurisdiction.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and circumstances, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.365/2013 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Karawal Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
