CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV SACHDEVA

O R D E R

% 21.04.2017 CM No.14945/2017 By this application, the respondents seek extension of the period of time granted to determine the Final Initial Unit Natural Gas Pipeline Tariff of the EWPL pipeline. It is contended that the tariff is to be determined by the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) and the Quorum of the said Board is not complete, as such, the Board is not functioning. Extension is sought for a period of six months from the date of availability of the complete Quorum of the Board.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already filed an appeal against the order of PNGRB dated 30.12.2016 and extension as prayed for may be granted, without prejudice to the rights and contentions in the said appeal. WP(C) 3204/2014

In view of the above, the time period for determination of the Final Initial Unit Natural Gas of the EWPL pipeline is extended for a period of six months from the date of the availability of the complete Quorum of the Board.

It is clarified that this is without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties in the appeal filed by the petitioner, referred to above.

The application is disposed of.
