% 14.02.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.1 have settled their disputes amicably. Petitioner has offered the amount lying deposited in this Court together with the interest accrued thereon to respondent no.1 towards full and final settlement of all his claims involved in the cheque in question. It is submitted that respondent no.1 has accepted this offer. Respondent no.1 is present in Court and submits that he has no objection in case offence is compounded.

Accordingly, offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act is permitted to be compounded. Amount lying deposited in this Court, that is, `2,00,000/- together with interest accrued thereon be released to respondent no.1 forthwith. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K.
