Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Learned counsel for the petitioner confines his prayer for issuance of a direction for expeditious disposal of the representation made by the petitioner for venting the grievances raised in this writ petition, which has been enclosed as Annexure P-2 at page 61.

Accordingly, without expressing any opinion as to the merit of the claim of the petitioner, we dispose of this writ petition with direction to the Secretary, State Transport Authority (STA), Govt. of NCT of Delhi to attend to the said representation and take an appropriate decision, which may be permissible under law. The decision shall be embodied in a reasoned and speaking order, which shall also be communicated to the petitioner.
