Heard the learned Counsel for the Parties.

The present Public Interest Litigation Petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the Respondents to take appropriate action for clearance and removal of alleged illegal and unauthorized encroachment said to be existing on some public land, such as, water drains / naala, etc., which have been covered by concrete slabs on the back side of Anand Lok. Certain other averments have been made relating to such encroachments at some other sites as well.

enforcement of GRAP in the month of December, certain action was also taken for the removal of the unauthorized encroachments. 4.

The Petitioner, for the redressal of his grievances, has already made a representation to the authorities concerned including the Commissioner, MCD, dated 02.09.2025, which is contained in Annexure-A appended to the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, we dispose of this Writ Petition with the direction to the authorities concerned to take appropriate decision and action, which may be warranted under law on the said representation expeditiously. 6.
