This writ petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs:- "(a) To issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ to quash and set aside the rejection of Petitioners NRI Conversion in NEET (UG) Counselling 2025;

(b)To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or directions to the Respondents to consider the candidature of Petitioners for MBBS Admission in Yenepoya Medical College, Mangalore, under NRI Quota before conversion to Management Quota;

(c) Direct the Respondent No.2 (MCC) to preserve and produce before this Hon'ble Court the entire record relating to Petitioners NRI Conversion ; (d)Restrain MCC from finalising and filling Two NRI Quota Seat, if available, till the Petitioners' grievance is adjudicated. (e) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or directions to the Respondent No.2 (Medical Counselling Committee) to furnish Petitioners' the complete record/material and reasons forming the basis of such rejection forthwith;

Conversion in accordance with law and permit their inclusion in the ongoing or next round of Counselling."

Ms. Radhika Bishwajit Dubey, learned Central Government Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondents. 4.

At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioners fairly submits that after filing of this writ petition, Respondent No. 2 has opened the window and invited fresh applications in the NRI Quota for NEET (UG) Counselling, 2025 and pursuant thereto, Petitioners have already applied for the same and their applications are under process. In light of this, learned counsel for the Petitioners, on instructions, seeks to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to take recourse to appropriate remedies before the appropriate forum in case of any grievance in future. 5.

Writ petition along with pending application is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for, in accordance with law.
