Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

This public interest litigation petition seeks a prayer for issuance of a direction to the respondents for removal of alleged illegal and unauthorized encroachment at some public land described in the prayer clause. 3.

Learned counsel representing the MCD has tendered a show cause notice dated 10.11.2025 issued to the owner/ builder pointing out the details of the unauthorized construction/ deviation from the sanctioned building plan. The said notice dated 10.11.2025 is taken on record. 4.

Since appropriate proceedings appear to have been initiated by the MCD, we dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the MCD to complete the said proceedings as expeditiously as possible.
