The present petition challenges the impugned order dated 14th March, 2024 by which a total demand of Rs.4,02,61,846/- has been confirmed against the Petitioner.

The Petitioner has already filed an appeal against the said order on 14th June, 2024. However, it is his grievance that no hearing has been granted and the appeal continues to remain pending.

According to the Petitioner in terms of Section 107(13) of the Goods and Services Act, 2017, the appeal ought to have been adjudicated within one year. Ld. Counsel for the Petitioner submits that in view of the statutory mandate having not been adhered to, the present writ petition has been filed. 5.
