..... Petitioners Through : Mr. Sunil Bhatt, Adv.

versus STATE & ANR.

..... Respondents Through :Mr. Tarang Srivastava, APP with SI Bansi Lal, P.S.

Mehrauli for respondent no. 1 Ms. Manju Datt, Adv. with respondent no. 2 in person.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 27.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably; therefore, FIR No. 1479/2016 under Sections 354/354D/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Mehrauli, on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed.

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Bansi Lal, P.S. Mehrauli. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the fact that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably and that respondent no. 2 is not willing to pursue

the FIR any further, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 1479/2016 under Sections 354/354-D/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Mehrauli, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
