The Petitioner is a convict, presently serving life sentence in FIR No. 979/2006, registered at P.S. Uttam Nagar for the offences under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. The Petitioner has been in custody for six years without remission, and had applied for parole before the Respondent authorities on 14th May, 2025. Since no decision thereon has been rendered, the instant petition has been filed. 2.

Without going into the merits of the case, the State is directed to decide the Petitioner's representation within a period of two weeks from today, reserving all rights and contentions of the parties. 3.
