% 01.12.2017 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of six months on the ground that he has been in incarceration for more than 24 years and he has to get married and thus come out to find a suitable match. As per earlier status report filed the parents of petitioner have since passed away and the petitioner was residing in a rented premises along with his uncle who has shifted to Dubai. There being no family members, the petitioner states that he would live in the company of family friend namely Vinay Kumar. There is no material on record to show that Vinay Kumar has control over the petitioner. Further nominal roll of the petitioner shows that the petitioner was granted interim bail by this Court for a period of 45 days with effect from 02nd June, 1999 when the petitioner did not surrender and had to be arrested. Again when the petitioner was granted parole on 19th February, 2009 for six weeks, he did not surrender and again had to be W.P.(CRL) 732/2017

rearrested.

The petitioner has faced trial in as many as 24 cases out of which he has been convicted in 11 cases.

Considering the past record of the petitioner, this court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.
