Petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act against the respondent counsel for violating order dated 11.09.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No. 3742/2024.

Learned counsel for respondent -NDMC (New Delhi Municipal Council) appears on advance notice and submits that the representation has already been received from the petitioner and in all likelihood, the same would be disposed of within two weeks from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the above said statement and assurance given by the respondent counsel, the petitioner does not press the present contempt petition at the moment. 4.

It is, however, submitted that if no decision is taken within the above said time frame the petitioner may be granted liberty to revive the present contempt petition.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as not pressed. 6.

Liberty, as prayed, is granted.
