This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 1 year for making and publishing the Award. 2.

Mr. Bagaria, learned counsel of petitioner, stated that only 1 witness is remaining to be examined and the matter is at the stage of final arguments. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Sethi, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed.

I am satisfied that a sufficient cause has been shown. 6.

Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended upto 1 year from today to conclude the arbitration proceedings. 7.

The period from 30.09.2025 till today stands regularized. 8.
