The instant petition was disposed on 04th December, 2024 with the following directions:
"5. In light of the foregoing, the present petition is disposed of with following directions:
i.
The Petitioner shall submit the necessary request with the HAX branch in the requisite performa format, tomorrow itself. ii.
Given that the celebrations are to be held on 08th December, 2024, the Respondents are directed to decide upon the Petitioner's request within two days of the receipt of the request." 2.
In compliance with the Court's aforenoted directions, the Respondents considered the Petitioner's request for police arrangements, however declined the same vide communication dated 07th December, 2024. The reason for denying the said request was stated to be heavy law and order arrangement required in North District from 06th December, 2024 to 08th December, 2024, due to Ijtema at Shahi Eidgah. 3.
Today, Mr. V.K. Mishra, counsel for the Petitioner states that if the Respondents are wiling to consider and accept their request for police arrangements, the Petitioner are willing to hold the 74th Urs on 22nd December, 2024 at Dargah Sayyad Gohar Ali Shah Dargah No. 01. 4.
Mr. Farman Ali, Senior Panel Counsel for the Respondents, states on instructions that the aforenoted request of the Petitioner for police arrangements can be accepted by the Respondents and for this purpose, 20 police personnel from SHO Sadar Bazar shall be deployed for the event organised by the Petitioner. The said statement made by Mr. Farman Ali is taken on record and shall be binding on the Respondents. 5.
In light of the above, no further directions are called for and the present application is disposed of in the above terms.
