This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the petitioners for quashing of FIR No.360/2015 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Bhalswa Dairy. It is stated that the matter W.P.(CRL) 876/2018
has been settled amicably and the petitioner No.1 and Respondent No.2 are living together in the matrimonial home since 2015. 2.
Respondent No.2/ Complainant is present before the Court and is identified by the Investigating Officer. I have enquired from her whether the matter has been settled with the petitioners amicably without fear and pressure. She has stated that the matter has been settled without any fear or pressure and she is living happily in the matrimonial home since 2015.

The petition is supported by the affidavit of the parties. 4.
Since the matter has been settled between the parties and the complainant is residing with petitioner No.1 in the matrimonial home happily, no useful purpose will be served to continue with the proceedings under Section 498-A/406/34 IPC. In the interest of justice and to enable the parties to maintain their matrimonial relations, FIR No.360/2015 under Section 498A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Bhalswa Dairy and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
