% 04.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioners (accused) and respondent no. 2 (complainant) have settled the disputes before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 30th September, 2016; therefore, FIR No. 63/2008 under Sections 406/506/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Hari Nagar on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Photocopy of the proceedings of the Mediation Centre dated 30th September, 2016 along with Memorandum of Settlement of the even date, which forms part of the settlement proceedings of the Mediation Centre, have been placed on record.
It is noted that not only the disputes involved in this FIR but certain
other litigations between the parties, as detailed in the proceedings of the Mediation Centre, have also been settled between the parties. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and submits that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed, in view of the settlement. She further admits having received the settled amount.
Accordingly, FIR No. 63/2008 under Sections 406/506/323/34 IPC registered at Police Station Hari Nagar and the consequent charge-sheet are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
