% 11.01.2017 Today learned counsel for the petitioner has handed over a copy of the compliance affidavit filed by Mr.Dinesh Kumar, Executive Engineer, Building-I, Central Zone, SDMC.

In the affidavit, it is stated that he has inspected the writ property on 1st December, 2016 and found that the unauthorized construction over the second floor has been demolished/removed. Photographs of the property have been annexed along with the said affidavit.

Since the illegal/unauthorised construction has been demolished by the respondent no.2 herself, this Court deems it appropriate to close the present contempt petition.

However, as this was the case of third violation of status quo by respondent nos. 1 & 2, this Court cautions the said respondents and clarifies that in the event the status quo is violated again, this Court would take a strict view and impose heavy costs. MANMOHAN, J JANUARY 11, 2017 KA
