O R D E R

% 28.03.2017 A fresh communication dated 25.03.2017 has been tendered by learned counsel for the respondent in Court. The estimate for police personnel required to escort the petitioner to Mumbai to visit his ailing father for two days has been worked out. For the requirement of six personnel to accompany the petitioner, the estimated cost is Rs.1,18,020/-, which includes expenditure towards air tickets of six personnel at Rs.84,000/- at an approximate cost of Rs.14,000/- for a two-way ticket. The aforesaid proposal dated 25.03.2017 is acceptable to the petitioner. The petitioner may, accordingly, act in terms thereof.

The petitioner states that he shall purchase the air tickets so as to save costs. While doing so, the petitioner shall ensure that all the air tickets pertain to the same flight and the tickets shall be booked on any of the regularly operating airlines. As and when the petitioner makes the arrangement for the tickets and deposits the other expenses, steps shall be taken to transport him to Mumbai for a period of two days to meet his ailing father. While the petitioner is at Mumbai, he shall be either at his home address, or visit the multi-speciality hospital, where his father is admitted. Even in hospital, he shall be accompanied by the police personnel and in case the hospital has any objection in this regard, he shall not be allowed to make the visit. The respondents shall inform to the petitioner the account name and number into which the amount has to be deposited after inquiring the same from Delhi Police within three days.
