This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the Petitioner seeking the following reliefs:
"(a) Issue writ/order or direction in nature of appropriate writ(s), order(s) or direction (s) for setting aside the impugned entry No. 831 Khasra No. 44/11 situated in the village of Kapashera, tehsil Kapashera, district South West, New Delhi in the revenue records (Khatauni) dated 08.04.2024 U/s 81, DELHI LAND REFORMS ACT, 1954 qua the property bearing Khasra No. 44/11 admeasuring 1150 sq. yds i.e. 961.515 sq. mtrs., at Village Kapashera, District South West, Delhi,as being non-est in law." At the outset, learned counsel for the Respondent submits that Petitioner has already filed a petition before the learned Sub-Divisional Magistrate, South-West, Kapashera seeking rectification of the register wherein allegedly a wrong entry bearing No. 831 with respect to land admeasuring 1150 square yards in Khasra No. 44/11, situated in Revenue estate of Village Kapashera has been made and therefore, Petitioner cannot avail a parallel remedy by filing this writ petition. 7.
Without entering into merits of the case, since Petitioner has already approached the learned SDM, seeking rectification of the revenue records, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned SDM to decide the said petition within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

Needless to state that it will be open to the learned SDM to decide the petition in accordance with law including on the issue of jurisdiction to entertain the petition. A speaking and reasoned order shall be passed by the learned SDM which will be communicated to the Petitioner within a week thereof and it will be open to the Petitioner to take recourse to legal remedies in case of any surviving grievance.
