% 05.12.2024 The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India r/w Section 528 BNSS, seeking protection of the life and liberty of the petitioners and further issuance of directions restraining respondent No.4 from harassing the petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner No.1 married petitioner No.2 on 23.10.2024. However, respondent No.4, who is the father of petitioner No.1, is not accepting the marriage, and the petitioners have apprehension that he may threaten their life. Issue notice.

Learned ASC for the State has accepted the notice. Learned ASC on instructions states that the mobile number of the beat constable and division officer shall be given to the petitioners.
