Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. 2.

The application stands disposed of.

The petitioners, who are senior citizens, seek protection from Respondent No. 2, who is married to the petitioners' son. 4.

He submits that the son and the daughter-in-law are trying to illegally trespass into the property of the petitioners. 6.

He submits that Respondent No. 2 tries to forcefully enter the petitioners' house and is also creating nuisance at the entrance of their house.

He further submits that there have been constant threats and harassment by Respondent No. 2 and the peace and safety of the petitioners' have been violated on regular basis. A number of complaints have been given to the Police Officials, however, no action has been taken till now.

The learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the parties seem to be embroiled in a matrimonial dispute.

He, however, fairly submits that the petitioners, being senior citizens, ought to be protected and nobody is allowed to take law in their own hands. He submits that Beat Officer of the concerned area will be sensitized and will be directed to visit the petitioners, being senior citizens, every evening and his phone number will also be provided to the petitioners and they are at liberty to call the Officer as and when they apprehend any threat to life and liberty.

He submits that the complaints of the petitioners will also be looked into and appropriate steps will be taken in accordance with law expeditiously.

Considering the above, no orders are required to be passed at this stage.

Needless to state that the petitioners are at liberty to approach the Court in case any grievance remains in future. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation of the merits of the allegations made by the petitioners.
