O R D E R

By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks release on 1st spell of Furlough on furnishing a cash surety instead of single surety of Rs. 10,000/- in FIR No.576/1999 registered under Sections 364/392/201/302/34 IPC at PS Hari Nagar, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Competent Authority, vide order dated 05.07.2024 had granted 1st spell of Furlough for a period of three weeks on him furnishing two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each. The said order was modified vide order dated 29.08.2024 to the extent that the petitioner was asked to furnish one surety of Rs. 10,000/- instead of two. However, the petitioner had sought further modification of the said order dated 29.08.2024 praying for release on cash surety which came to be rejected vide order dated 14.11.2024. He further submits that despite his best efforts, the petitioner is unable to arrange one surety of Rs.10,000/- and, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. therefore, prays that he may be released on cash surety instead. 4.

Issue notice.

Learned Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice and submits that he has no objection to the aforesaid request. 6.

In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on 1st spell of Furlough for a period of three weeks on his furnishing a cash surety of Rs. 10,000/- on the same terms and conditions as contained in the order dated 05.07.2024, later modified vide order dated 29.08.2024. 6.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of alongwith the pending application.
