% 12.05.2017 Babita wife of the applicant herein relied on a document in the nature of General Power of Attorney executed by one Sita Ram on 21.06.2006 to claim purchase of a plot of land from the previous owner. The investigation thus far carried out shows that the said document is forged and fabricated instrument, the applicant herein having attested it as a witness. In these circumstances, the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State is correct that custodial interrogation might be necessary. Therefore, the interim protection stands vacated. The application is dismissed.
