O R D E R

% 09.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably.

Marriage between petitioner and respondent no.2 has also been dissolved by the decree of divorce by mutual consent dated 7th December, 2016 passed by Family Courts, Shahdara, Delhi. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel. She admits that she has already received the entire settled amount. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion or pressure. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, inasmuch as, the entire settled amount has been received and that the marriage between them has been dissolved by decree of divorce by mutual consent, in the interest of justice, FIR No.1336/2014 under Sections 498A/506/406/34 IPC registered at police station Madhu Vihar is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
