% 20.03.2026 CRL.M.A. 4070/2026 (Modification of order dated 17.12.2025) 1.

The present application has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking modification of order dated 17.12.2025 passed by this Court. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that, the details of the FD bearing the a/c no. "21990300050231" for the sum of INR 80,000 (Indian Rupees Eighty Thousand) has not been mentioned in the order dated 17.12.2026 and prays for modification thereof. 3.

Learned counsel for respondent no. 2 consents to the said modification.

For the reasons stated in the application as well as the consent given by learned counsel for respondent no. 2, the present application is allowed and the order dated 17.12.2025 is modified and paragraph 6 thereof shall be The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. It is further noted that, in compliance with the settlement arrived at between the parties and towards securing the future welfare and educational needs of the minor daughter, Esther Mary Bejoy, the petitioner has, handed over in Court, four FDRs. The said Fixed Deposits are in the name of the minor child, to be operated through her mother and natural guardian, the respondent no. 2 herein. The first Fixed Deposit bearing Account No. 21990400016132 is for an amount of ₹3,00,000/-, while the second and third Fixed Deposits bearing Account Nos. 21990400016116 and 21990400016124 are for amounts of ₹2,00,000/- each and the fourth FDR bearing a/c no. "21990300050231" for the sum of ₹80,000/-, aggregating to a total sum of ₹7,80,000/-. All the aforesaid Fixed Deposits have been created on 11.12.2025.

The first three FDRs of which carry an interest rate of 6.5% per annum and are for a tenure of 72 months, and shall mature on 11.12.2031, while the fourth FDR of ₹80,000/- carrying an interest rate of 6.25% per annum is for a period of 12 months and shall mature on 11.12.2026. The first three Fixed Deposits are under the FD-Quarterly Interest scheme, while the fourth one is under the Cash Certificate scheme, and all FDRs are expressly earmarked for the benefit of the minor child. The Court is satisfied that the aforesaid arrangement adequately secures the financial interests of the minor and reflects due compliance with the terms of settlement between the parties."
