By way of the present application, the petitioner/applicant seeks anticipatory bail in FIR No. 463/2024 registered under Sections 318(4)/336(3)/340(2) BNS and under Section 12 Passports Act, 1967 at P.S. IGI Airport, New Delhi.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that as per the case of the prosecution, the passenger met Ramandeep Singh through one Gubir Singh and paid Rs.24 lakhs to arrange for a Skilled worker Visa for London, U.K. In this regard, he also handed over his passport to said Ramandeep Singh. While the passenger/Gurpreet Singh was at immigration clearance, IGI Airport, the passenger was apprehended as the visa was found to be forged. Learned counsel for the applicant contends that insofar as the present applicant is concerned, his role is only of booking the flight ticket, which has not been found to be forged.

present applicant used to arrange tickets. It is further submitted that the present applicant has been arranging clients for the co-accused Navdeep on commission basis for which he has also received Rs.50,000/-over and above the ticket price. He, however, on instructions, submits that during the pendency of the anticipatory bail application before the Sessions Court, the applicant has joined the investigation. He has also handed over a copy of the Status Report which is taken on record.

I have heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned APP for the State and have also gone through the material placed on record. The only allegations against the present applicant is of charging Rs.50,000/- over and above the ticket price. The ticket has also not been found to be forged and the applicant is not found involved in any other case. 5.
Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and circumstances, without commenting further on the merits of the case and considering the role assigned to the present applicant, it is directed that in the event of arrest, the applicant be released on bail subject to his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer/SHO of the concerned Police Station and also subject to the following further conditions:- (i) At the time of furnishing bail bond, the applicant shall provide the mobile number, which he undertakes to keep operational at all times during the pendency of the trial. (ii) The applicant shall join the investigation as and when asked.
(iii) The applicant shall inform the concerned Investigating Officer about his current residential address. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
(iv) In case of change of residential addresses/contact details, the applicant shall promptly inform the same to the concerned Investigating Officer/SHO.
(v) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly try to get in touch with the complainant or any other prosecution witnesses or tamper with the evidence.
(vi) The applicant shall regularly appear before the trial Court.

The application is disposed of in the above terms alongwith the pending application.

Needless to state that nothing observed hereinabove shall amount to an expression on the merits of the case and shall not have a bearing on the trial of the case as the same has been expressed only for the purpose of the disposal of the present bail application.
